I agree, Laurie!

One concern I have is this: Since my teeth are moving so quickly into place, are they going to move out of alignment just as quickly/easily? It's probably WAY too soon to worry about that... Or perhaps I shouldn't worry about that at all?

Thanks for your kind compliment and words of wisdom, KK! My 4th adjustment is coming up in about 3 weeks, so if I'm still concerned, I will ask him. Thank you for the guidance.

And acd, thank you as well for your kind words... it's so interesting how I see my teeth every day and don't really think about how much they've moved; but when I compare them to how they looked in February, it just blows my mind! Woo-hoo!

The days of my laterals playing Hide-'n'-Go-Seek are but a fading memory!

Since my teeth have moved this much in 6 months, I'm wondering if I'll still have to wear my braces for the full 18 months as was the original plan? Hmmm, perhaps I'll get "time off for good tooth behavior"? HAHAHA

Class I here I come!

I'm still a little self-conscious about smiling wide with braces. But this shot was taken at the "Happiest Place on Earth", so big smiles are standard protocol:

My 7 month anniversary passed me by (on September 6), and I didn't even notice it! So I had to take pictures on the 7th to show everyone:

here's a comparison pic for you, so you can REALLY see the progress:

From February 17

From September 7

But...
Now that my teeth are straighter, I'm noticing all the asymmetry of my teeth. Reading all the posts about shaping and about IPR I'm confident that my ortho will have these resolved by the time treatment is done:

There is a groove in my left central
left lateral has a point, whereas right lateral has a flat edge
right canine has more pronounced "point" than left canine

Thanks for reading; come back after my 4th adjustment on September 18!

I did not notice any asymmetries until I saw the picture where you circled them.
