I'm honestly not sure what is keeping them white. I have been using the Sonicare with a whitening toothpaste for 8 years or so. Not much else besides cleanings.

This morning, I get out of the shower and thought a little piece of wax came loose. I took out the little bugger and it was my molar tube. LOVELY! 2 more weeks to go and this is what happens. I'm guessing it's because I've been so daring as to have tortilla chips everyday. BUT I won't tell them that. I put the bracket in an empty wax case, hopefully I don't lose it! Lucky for me that the wire isn't bothering me just yet.
** EDIT **
I called the office and asked if I should wait until my next appt. in 2 weeks or come in, she said "Can you come in today?" I have to work and don't want to take too many days for ortho, I told her no. She told me to come in tomorrow morning at 9am! I can't catch a break on my appointments!!!!!!!

What a bummer about the bracket, on top of everything else. I do hope the wire doesn't start to bother you if it does, there's always wire cutters..........
Hope you get some rest this weekend. Partying can take it out of you, especially if you've not been well. If you're tired and run down, maybe that's why your right brackets have been troubling you. Try and keep up the water intake if you can.
Hope your cleaning goes well.

Wow, too bad about the molar tube, Smiley, and that you have to rearrange your schedule. Sure is fun to have these sudden intrusions into our lives, isn't it Hopefully your trip to the ortho will be really quick and easy, though.
Your friend P really has an interesting way of viewing her oral health, I must say!

That's a drag about the bracket - at least you'll be able to get it fixed straightaway. I don't envy the lot of you who have to schedule their ortho and dental appointments around work schedules... I'm a stay at home mom, so I'm lucky. If I need to go in, I just go!
Also, I agree with cwatt1 -- I read your post about how your friend P takes care of (or doesn't) her teeth and oral health. It seems a little odd.

You have to know P to understand why she's that way. I believe in being thrifty but not with EVERYTHING. I mean your health is not something that money should conflict with. Buying supermarket brand cereal and canned foods, understandable. Not wanting to spend money on proper dental care for yourself and pulling teeth, bewilders me.
Okay, I had an hour long appointment. I brought along my rebel bracket and they said it would be bonded back on. So I'm unwired and go to brush my teeth and floss!! YAAY!! My favorite part of the appointment is flossing with no wire. I sit back down and wait a bit, it's really busy, until he comes to take a look. He looks and says "We're going to band it." So the assistant puts in a grey spacer, he comes back and takes another look and says "Wait, open again, never mind, we're going to bond it. You have the crown of your wisdom tooth erupting." I say "YAY!!!!!!!!!!! No spacer for me!" The assistant says "No, you have to keep that in there in case the bond fails again, we might still have to try and band it." Oh great........ Then I had a thought, "If I just happen to chew something sticky or chewy and the spacer falls out, will I have to put it back in?" Assistant said "No, don't worry about it then." *WINK WINK* Hahahahaha She also asked if I was grinding my teeth because that might have knocked it off while I was sleeping. Then I checked my teeth, paid my monthly, and was on my way. I get out to my car and check again to find that the upper was powerchained from 4-7 on one side and 3-7 on the other. I went back up because I couldn't remember if that was how it was initially done. I ask an assistant and she went to ask the one who actually did the work, and then she said, no it should be 3-7 on both sides, they take a look and I had a busted link. WHAT A MORNING! Well, I got my September adjustment out of the way. I didn't get a color in fear of causing another reaction. I got new wires 18x25 on upper and lower. I think he had changed those out to something else last time. The ortho also went on to say "you're not a problem patient." I asked "Are you sure? Do you want to transfer me out to someone else?" He laughs and says "No, no, no, no, I don't want you to even think about that!" Hehehe It was a long morning. Time for me o get some lunch!

Geeez, I can not catch a break! Yesterday evening, the mister and I went to Disneyland. I was sitting around and I felt the pressure come off that darn molar again. I reached in and grabbed the bracket and stuck it in my wax case. Good thing I left the spacer in. I had the mister cut the wire today because I didn't think I could make it to my next adjustment and I wasn't about to have that sucker digging into my cheek for the next 3 weeks. I'm actually hoping they'll be able to band the stupid tooth and get it over with.
In regards to the gold lower wire, they changed it back to the regular titanium ones. I didn't have it long enough to take pictures and one of my better cameras went dead on me. It is really dead dead.
RIP - Canon S45
You served me well even through all those drunken moments of dropping you all around Italy and France. You were the best camera I have ever owned and I will have trouble finding a replacement. We have made so many memories!

Hey Miss Smiley! Thought I'd stop and check in on you. It's been quite the eventful few weeks for you between your allergic reaction and this bracket continually falling off. Looks like you are going to have to get that sucker banded now. Hopefully the band doesn't give you too much trouble. They can take some getting used to with those nasty little cleats.
I love your Tiffany's jewelry... very beautiful. I have the heart tag necklace and bracelet and the open heart earings. I wear them pretty much every day. Little FYI, they will polish them at the store for you (takes about a week though) and when you get them back they look brand new. My bracelet gets pretty banged up, but I take in and 5 days and $10 later it looks the same as the day I got it. I LOVE it.
Glad you had fun in Vegas. The Rio is one of my favorite hotels to stay at since all of their rooms are suites. It's pretty fun hotel too with the theme. I was just in Vegas a month ago, but didn't get to stay at the Rio. We wanted to stay on the strip so that immediately threw out the Rio
I was at Disneyland yesterday too! It had been like I month since I was last there and I was so happy to be there.

PrincessMel - FYI, become buddies with one of the nice sales people. Go to them all the time and whenever you make a purchase, go out of your way to purchase from the same person, they'll clean and buff your jewelry the same day. My person cleans my stuff for free and throws in a cleaning cloth here and there.
I'm hoping they'll be able to take care of this wretched molar, I'll just go in when the spacer falls out. Hehehe

During my 2 hour drive to work this morning, I decided to call my ortho's office and ask if I should be scheduling to be seen for my molar bracket and she said "If it fell off again, you should really come in and have the doctor look at it so we can fix it." So I have an appointment for Friday morning at 10:45. Sounds like fun! Almost as much fun as my 2 hour drive to work.

Doesn't sound like it's very fun to be you right now. I look forward to the day when I can have some tortilla chips. I actually tried over the weekend but since he's got my bite open all the way around it didn't work and I almost choked. haha I'm going to be patient and wait for my expansion to be over with now.....
Hope everything goes well!! That sucks you have to go back so much. haha
