I got braces when my youngest daughter started with her brace last year. Her teeth fortunately weren't too bad (mine are / were terrible) and she's due to get her brace removed soon.
Great that you'll be doing this with your children. My daughter pretty much took everything in her stride and that had a positive effect on me.
Glad your excited about this, you won't regret it, it really is a lot easier to get used to than I thought it would be.
Regards
Joney

Well, I think Meryaten pretty much covered everything in her post. Hope all goes well with your daughter's OS. Having all of you in braces at once is going to make a great family portrait! Keep us posted.
Hi Momof3,
Well, there are those clever sayings about "the family who (prays, plays etc.) together, stays together". We'll have to come up with something for your "braced together" experience! You will have your own built in support group there. How neat! (How expen$ive!) I hope you all do great-- and hope you will share the dramas and the laughs.
Good one, Kiwi.
At least better than I could come up with at the time. Momof3, I hope you don't mind us playing with this a little. We are pretty easily amused.
Hope you are finally settled in to your new house and it is feeling really comfortable to you all.
