Thanks Everyone! It IS so worth it so all you out there braced, hang in there, and those thinking about it..... go for it!

I've had my braces off for just over a week and you all have no idea how fun it is to eat again. I'm still catching myself looking at foods and thinking, is that worth eating and having to clean out of my braces after, then realizing, NO BRACES, eat away! Fun fun fun........

Your teeth look AMAZING!! I cannot wait for the journey to be over. I was impressed with how UN-noticeable your retainers are! Is that how all retainers are now? When I had braces 30 years ago, my retainer was as obvious as the braces were :? Hopefully, they won't be now since we are in the modern ages now. Congratulations on your beautiful smile!! Lori

Many many thanks everyone! :D

Discomom: I have the essix type retainer, which is nice because it's not very noticable, though they're not all like this. It all depends what your ortho uses. I have a bonded retainer on my lower arch.

Killaking: Awww, thank you very much.

I almost forgot to mention. I'm getting my top retainer this coming weekend and it's going to be exactly like yours. I have permanent wires bonded behind my top and bottom teeth like your bottom teeth. I'm wondering how the clear retainer is going to stay on/over my top permanent wire? Hmmm...I finally added a new photo without my braces in my thread. Take a look! I hope I look as good as you do.

Wow!! Your teeth look spectacular!

Like somebody else said, I like how your teeth are all of the same shape. I think mine might look a bit strange as they have some uneven wear, and they also have 'ridged' edges like baby teeth, especially the bottom ones.

Hope you continue to enjoy your beautiful smile.
