Hi Zuke! I can spot some progress, especially in your upper front teeth. It's probably just because you see your teeth all the time you can quite notice it. You're teeth look real good and healthy by the way, hope everything goes swell!

I can see the midline now, I didn't know what that meant, so thanks for explaining it to me

That is freakin' amazing!!!!

You have no idea how much better that makes me feel! I KNOW they are going to move, however it is always nice to see things

And thanks for giving me a list of what to look for. That is all wonderful information!!

That makes sense about the 5% movement, I will have to keep that in mind.

I am not crazy about them, but I am very hopefull that that they will look great when I get done!

Great pics!!! You'll be able to see the results soon enough, if you haven't noticed already. Its those subtle changes that make all the difference. Good luck with your treatment!

I CANNOT imagine my teeth moving that much!! That would be insane to even think that...too weird for sure!!

I will keep positive thoughts and I know they will end up straight! I can't wait to take 2 month pics!! WOO HOO!

WOW!!!!!!

My teeth have been sensitive and not horribly painful, but annoying!

I just took some pics expecting nothing and WOW was I wrong!!!!! LOOK! Day 1 on the left, today on the right (3/7/08)

THEY ARE MOVING!!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!! COME ON MORE PAIN!! NEED MORE PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been swamped with work and that is good as it has made me forget about my braces

Not much pain at all, every once in awhile I will have one tooth that is achy...but not bad

I go in at 10 am for my first adjustement and I am excited how things already look!!

Here are the pics! Left is day 1, Right is today---LOTS of movement!

)) I am amazed how different they look!

Well the adjustment went well...nothing SUPER amazing to tell. other than I think I got th "new girl".....she took FOREVER to take off and put on my new ligs....and she poked me once in the mouth...OUCH LADY!!!!

While she was putting them on a bracket got loose so the ortho came in and put another one on. Then he put all the ligs on..MUCH BETTER!

He did say that my bottom canines are rotating toward my tounge, which he did not want.....so he tired two wires around the tooth or the lig and that feels very tight right now, but it will prevent those teeth from rotating. I can't hardly even see the extra wires....

Same wire, new ligs and that is about it, and come back in another 6 weeks....awefully uneventful! But all is going fine.

I will remember the techs name and try not to get her again...although in 6 weeks she will probably be a pro at this!

Hi Zuke!

I've been following your journal (my b'day was 2 weeks after yours) and I was sure I posted on it but when I went back to see what I had said...NO POST!! DUH!

I guess I got so wrapped up in your progress I forgot! haha I got a kick out of your dream. I had a dream my archwire broke in the middle and all my top teeth just fell out!

Then I had a dream last night that I got sick of not being able to brush "normally" so I took my braces off...now that'd be quite a feat!!

Anyway, your teeth look great. I see lots of movement! Sorry to hear your adjustment wasn't great but, like you said, she'll be a pro by the time you go back
