Alright so in this picture you can see how my incisor is now out of line with the other one. It wasn't like this when I started so it feels pretty funky. Oh and yeah check out the awesome powerchain going all the way across and then hooks on my molar band.. I know you are all jealous of that. :D And I can see the wire tire to my premolar that the ortho put there to stop it from shifting forward.

So this morning I woke up and my incisors are killing me. Don't know what the deal is but I chalk it up to movement. I'll just have to get the pain killers out today and do some soft foods.

It's a bit weird when you think you're teeth have done with the pain until the next adjustment and then BAM you wake up with them sore!

My left upper incisor is giving me the irrits lately so it must be on the move.

So I had my 2nd adjusment today and as usual I sit in the chair open up and they begin taking everyhting out. Well as the assistant was taking out the top wire she says huh. I'm like ok what's the deal. So she tells me that the wire was not in the band on my right hand side. So she attempts to put the wire back in after cutting out all the wire ties and she can't. So of course she gets the ortho who sits down and asks how long was it out for. I of course answer I have no idea it's not like it was stabbing me and there was SO much stuff on that tooth (powerchain wire tie and lig) that I had NO idea it was even out. Apparently my premolar went all crazy and crooked being as it was let off its chain and not hooked into the band. So I had to go back to a lighter wire to get that tooth back in line. So I go back in 4 weeks, to get my wire back to where it should be, but apparently my ortho is going to be a little more aggressive at the next visit to get back on track. The good news though is that I no longer have a powerchain clear across the top I have one on the left incisor to the smaller incisor to pull it up and make room. I also got a wire tie on my one crooked tooth on the bottom. Hopefully within no time I will be back on track

Hi Katt,

Sorry to hear about the little set back :( but you sound optimistic...I like that! Great pics! I see quite a bit of movement in both arches, especially in the space you're getting with the spring. Here's to that molar getting back in line and you back on track!!
Keep smilin'! :)

I am very optimistic about the whole thing. although this morning I woke up in a ton of pain and my husband's so funny he goes "well can you go back so they can loosen them some?" So I had to explain they don't actually "tighten them". Anyway here are some pictures of the new set up. The first 2 are of the molar set back you can see how they tilt in towards each other and they're not suppsed to and the 3rd is just the new colors. You can see the clear power chain moving my incisor over to make room for the jacked canine. All in all they're getting there though.
