Sorry I haven't popped in lately(I had family home for the last 2 weeks) but, wow, your braces look terrific!! I love the lig colours you chose and it's great to hear you're doing well. Check in later....
Keep smilin'!

Braced for 18 months: Damon 3mx all around with Damon 3's on "social six". Now is Essix retainers for 10 hours/night.
Just to contradict Denise - I reckon there's a change to the left upper as you look at your picture, but hey! as they say, Rome wasn't built in a day and I bet those suckers (excuse the pun! ) are really on the move now!
How's it been going now you're coming up to the 2 week mark? Are you getting over the initial shock of having a brace-face? I'm 3 days in front of you and I'm now managing without wax and I can eat most things. I'm also not so self-conscious about them any more, although I've a family gathering coming up this weekend and most of them haven't seen my braces yet. Oh to be centre of attention!!
Hey Amanda, I just got caught up on your story. That's great news that your hubby will be coming home sooner than you expected! As for movement in your teeth, I do believe I could detect some differences. But it's hard to say if it's due to movement or camera angle. I'll opt to believe it's movement.

Hey everyone! Thank you all so much for stopping by my story. And I'm sorry it's taken so long to reply. I have been trying to keep busy to pass the time faster and this weekend my dad came to vist. Woohooo!
So on the braces front things are great. I am used to them now and I really don't even notice them when I'm not talking or eating or starting at them in the mirror. Lol. I have been trying to figure out exactly how the front 2 are moving and if the right one (your left) is moving. I am pretty sure that they both are and that right now they are pulling out of the "V" formation. I can feel the differnece with my tongue on the back of them. I can also see a tiny bit of movement in the bad one on the bottom. Before i had the hardest time getting floss through them and now it'm much easier. I will take pics and post them on Monday maybe. I am happy with the movement so far. I just hope that they are a lot different by the time my hubby bubby comes home next month.

LOL! You guys crack me up! I'll try to get some new pics tomorrow. I just get frustrated b/c I see movement but it doesn't show up very well in pictures. UGH! But I'll try again tomorrow. Haven't taken any since yesterday to see if I could get a good one.

I have the opposite problem. I can't see movement worth a darn, but my pics look slightly different. Anyway, yes, twould be nice to see more pics to compare by, ducky.
Hehehe...someone would make a mint of a perfectly calibrated tooth cam for all us on here.
Hey guys! Sorry I've been MIA lately. My best friend is coming up for a week so I've been trying to get everything done for that. Then next month my love comes home for R&R. WAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Sorry! I'm just a little excited incase you can't tell. LOL.
So... I hear some peps want some pics... hmmmm, I might be able to dig some up.
DAY 1:
TODAY:
What doya think? That was the best pic I could get of them.
ETA: I left them big so that you can see them better.
Just popping in to say YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY for the hubby having some R&R! My hubby and I are both in the Air Force, we are spoiled compared to the army life so neither of us know what it is like to do anything more then a 6 month deployment. I hope that he returns safely both for his R&R and his final return! And as far as movement for you teeth goes.....to this untrained eye I can't see much but I would believe your tongue over pictures any day and there will be much more movement to come!
