Hi! I'm a 28 year old from England. I've been reading so many of the stories on here and they've given me inspiration to do my own.
I have invisalign on my top teeth. I started in July 2008 with my first of 14 aligners. I will get my fixed brace on my bottom teeth in october.
Here are photo's of my teeth on 20th August 2008 wearing aligner number 2. Sorry the pics are bit rubbish! I just can't seem to get a clear pic of my teeth!!! You can see how noticeable my bumps/attachments are!!! But I guess I only have to live with them until February.

Here's my teeth today 16th September 2008. First pic wearing my aligner number 4 and second pic without it. Haven't noticed much change yet but i'm not even half my through yet so will post again a few months down the line

How is it all going for you? Everything running smoothly?
I also noticed you have attachments on your central incisors. My dentist said I have to have this done also and I was bummed. What do you reckon about this?
Everything is going well thanks. On number 4 right now. Havent really noticed any big changes yet but i'm hoping to soon.
Yeah i was quite shocked when they stuck those huge attachments on my teeth!! Wasnt expecting that at all! Without them my brace would be pretty much invisable!
I have had about 6 people notice my braces and all them said it was the attachments they spotted! But I have had a few friends say they wouldnt have guessed I had a brace if I hadnt told them.
Hows it going with you? When do you get your aligners??

I know!!! I have HUGE attachments on 5 of my top front teeth!!! They are so noticeable!!! Look like I have bits of rice stuck to my teeth all the time!!!

Here's a couple of photos I took yesterday. I've had both my extractions now! yay!
You can see I've had different teeth taken out each side. I had a hole and an abscess one on of the teeth so my orthodontist and dentist agreed
that could be taken out instead of the one next to it. This saved me having to get a route canal. Phew!! My ortho said the braces will even all the teeth out in the end

Yesterday was my brace day!! I had my lower brace put on and I've just started my invisalign aligner number 6 on my top teeth.
I was so excited all week, but when the morning actually came I was so nervous!! Having it put on wasn't as bad as I thought. The worst part was the taste of that horrible glue!! yuk!!
I've been so hungry..but so far I've managed soup, rice pudding, porridge, yoghurts, shepherds pie, jelly and......chocolate!!!

I managed to eat 'real food' today! meat, jacket potato and salad! lol The braces isn't really bothering me so far, but I do have some sores on the inside of my left cheek. I can't wait to start seeing some changes though!
Thanks for the comments about my white teeth! I'm quite lucky, a lot of people tell me I have really white teeth. It's probably helped that I've never smoked and I dont drink tea, coffee or red wine. i just hope I can keep then like this until the braces come off!

I only have 7 weeks left of invisalign on my top teeth! Yippee!!
Lots of you have commented on how white my teeth are, unfortunately i dont think they are anymore my teeth seem to have got more yellow especially in the last few weeks. I definately want to get them whitened when Im completely finished but I was wondered whether i could use a home whitening just on my top teeth, because my bottoms ones wont be finished until at least October!
Hope everyone is well and had a good Xmas and New Year. I've been so busy, but seeing as im snowed in today and couldnt get to work, i'm going to spend the afternoon on here! lol
