How was it getting them off? Hopefully it was quick and painless...
Jenny - Yes it was quick....but not totally painless!
I went in to see the hygenist first for a cleaning, and in comes the ortho with what looks like a set of pliers!!!

He then proceeds to "pop" off the ceramic brackets one by one and some are resisting.....he decides that the one's that are resisting can be sanded off later.
When I got into the ortho's chair, he took the rest of the bracket and off and of course smoothed away any of the bonding that remained on my teeth. He then put in my bonded retainers (top and bottom).
He also made me a set of Essix retainers which I will pick up next Wednesday.
Overall, the de-bonding was not bad......but there were moments of discomfort. Having said that, the way my teeth look now - I would do it ALL again in a heartbeat!!!!
