Wow those pictures show a TON of progress and in just a few weeks! Very cool :) And that's good news about the midline too. I could understand how your bite would feel weird with all the expansion you've had, but I'm sure once the bottoms go on, you will feel much better. Congrats on all the movement and good luck with the rest of your journey!

If your teeth keep moving like this, you will NOT have braces for your wedding. I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Right now I'm just hoping they won't make me wait another 5 months to get the bottom braces on. The better my top teeth get, the worse the bottom ones are bothering me since they're so crooked!

Had my first adjustment today. My teeth hurt when they took the ligs off! Not so much the process of taking them off, but I had to wait about 10 minutes with them off for my ortho to get done with another appointment, and during that time my teeth throbbed. Then they put them back on, so I'm okay now. Weird!

I got wire ties on most of my teeth, I think there were only 2 that didn't get them. They put the gray ligatures on top of the wire ties, I didn't know that was how it was done. Anyway, he said the wires would keep the archwire tight against my teeth and that it would help fix the rotation of them.

Here's my snapshots of today, at 6 weeks vs first day:

And the front, which still looks very crooked :( (Today vs. first day in braces)

WOW!! That is really a lot of moment is such a short time. It is kinda funny how certain ones seem to do what you want so fast, but others just don't want to budge. I had a canine that was high up on my gum line, it only seemed to take a couple of months to come down to the others, that made me happy. And for me it seemed like the bottoms moved much faster than the tops. I had to wait 6 months or so to get my bottoms, because the ortho had to make room so I wouldn't bite my brackets off. My bottoms look pretty straight now, still working on the trouble spots on top though. Looks like you don't have any deep bite or open bite issues, so hopefully you will be brace-free before your wedding!! I need to get some photos on my story too. I really wish I had taken some pictures along the way, or even done before photos. Oh Well! Good Luck!!
