Hi Chastity! Your teeth look really nice. How strange that you had a damaged bracket. I've never heard of that happening. Good thing you caught it! Now that gap can close up

I was super annoyed at my last appointment! Apparently, at the appointment before that one, I was supposed to switch to triangle elastics but the assistant DID NOT tell me or even mention changing the way I was wearing them So, there I was wearing elastics in the wrong formation for a whole month. Who knows how long that slowed the progression of my treatment!! I was furious at the assistant for not telling me and at myself because I knew something was going wrong with my bite but I didn't bother calling or anything.

So my ortho took off the powerchain and has me not wearing any elastics until my next appointment in 2 weeks.

I just hope their mistake significantly doesn't add on to length of my treatment because I've been doing my part perfectly.

OMG i would be super peeved too! thats lame that they didn't even bother to mention! lol how the heck were you suposto know? I havent been wearing triangle elastics yet but i bet they will be fun

not... lol i might get them on my next adjustment on thursday ... good luck with your treatment and i hope you dont have to wait an extra month or anything to fix THEIR mix up! good luck!

I just read your braces story and you must be so happy. Your teeth look beautiful! You are such an inspiration. I just got my braces on 2 weeks ago, and seeing your teeth line up so beautifully is really making me feel like I made the right choice by getting the braces.

I'd say you've done a good job keep your teeth clean and aligned correctly , looks like your almost through . I bet you'll have a really pretty smile in the end.

I haven't updated in a very long time! It has almost been 2 years since I began treatment and I'm hoping to get them off in February! I have an appointment next week so maybe my orthodontist will give me an estimated DB date

I'll try to get some pics posted soon. There have been some pretty noticeable changes
