HI:!: I'm new here to this forum, and I'm so excited because I am finaly getting braces after waiting 3-4 years for them! I'm getting braces on March 8th and I can't wait! Any tips for when I get them? Thanks! OH! and how do I post pictures? thanks!

Enjoy your last days of freedom...he he he. Eat everything in sight...gummy stuff, crunchy stuff etc....and enjoy the ease of brushing your teeth and flossing!
Your first week or so will be very awkward and a bit painful. Use your wax as needed, take pain killers and use salt water rinses when you get sores in your mouth! My worst days was about the first 3-4 days...it was not fun at all. But I tried not to baby my teeth to much, try to eat as normal as you can. It will be difficult to chew (cuz your teeth are horribly sore) but in the long run it will help them to be less sore! I am 3 weeks in and I now eat pretty much everything I used to. I have had to cut out a few things but not a whole lot! They are sure a major pain, eating is now a chore,....lots of picking things outta your teeth all the time!!
