Ok sooo it's been FOREVER it seems since I've updated. I think all of the people I started out with on this forum are already debraced! I have before pics from my orthodontist and that for a while I was too embarrassed to even post. They are pretty scary! I knew my teeth were bad, but looking back WOW they were really bad! My teeth aren't ready for debracing yet and I set my treatment time back a lot while I was pregnant because I couldn't wear my elastics at the end of my pregnancy. Luckily I've been faithful in wearing them now and my treatment time is est. at 6 more months. My teeth are looking much better, which is so exciting! Here are my pics with my crazy elastics and halloween black and orange powerchains!
Thanks!
Yes, I think that I definitely slowed my treatment time down by about 6 months. Just the change I've had from wearing them recently has been great and I could almost kick myself for not wearing them. I was SO uncomfortable though with pregnancy insomnia, getting up to pee every 30 minutes (seriously!) and then not getting any rest during the day. So when I would wear them I would get a bad headache and earache. Which is weird because I've only been slightly uncomfortable wearing them after I had my little boy. Nothing I even needed to take meds for. Maybe after having a baby nothing seems to hurt as bad though, lol!
My braces are supposed to be coming off next month, so what do you guys think?? It's been a long journey with braces, but rewarding! The difference in how my teeth look is so drastic, it's kinda creepy to look at the first pictures. I know my teeth need to be shaped a little in front, they look odd, but I'm almost done! Woohoo. I have a bend in the wire to rotate the front top tooth, but that's it. I'm so afraid I'll get my braces taken off and all of a sudden they will look like they did before I started, hehe. Here is an updated picture!
