I had one pop off within hours of getting my braces put on, it was a Friday too, they didn't get me in until Tuesday to get it cemented back on. I wouldn't worry about it being a few days.

Thanks! Yeah, I figure that they are all loose anyway, so even if it shifts a bit, it should quickly fall back in line. It's a good chance to ask about another one that looks like it's coming loose.

My teeth are randomly sore today. :?

I have randomly sore teeth everyday it seems, and never the same ones! I guess thats a good sign but it makes eating a challange. I miss crunchy stuff! I used to eat a lot of crackers and salsa, it was a staple of mine to get through the day at work, not anymore. No more granola bars either, thats a bummer, not really sure on what to eat anymore :(

Well, I went to get the bracket replaced today. Since they had to take all the gear off to do that, and my adjustment was scheduled for next week, I got the "why don't we just do it all now" deal. So, new wires top and bottom, wire ties on upper two central, power chains top and bottom, elastic ties on upper two central. Also, the Dr. did more shaving of my upper two front teeth. It's weird to see them getting smaller.

Ouch. My mouth hurts. Of course, my main "issue" is that I didn't get to eat curry first, dammit! Because of vacation schedules, it will be 6 weeks until my next adjustment. I suppose it will be nice to not have a sore mouth while I'm camping, so I guess I can't complain. These chains are going to be soooo grody though.
