i dont think i have swallowed any wax yet, i am not keen to start either hope your feeling not too bad today. One month in i am finding things to have settled down alot now. my cheeks are healing

I feel fine. I guess nothing wil happen. BUT .... I swallowed a bracket today!! That is worrying me more than the wax! I read up and the metal is medical grade and should not cause any problems. That's three that have come off is that normal?? Two were crowns and the one in my stomache was not on a crown. Has anyone else had issues with brackets moment off? It's been two weeks today.

My cheeks are hurting again!! One side is all cut up. I don't understand they have been ok. I guess it will just be never ending. I have to go on the 13th to get my Rpe. Then I have my last final right after. Hope I want be in too much pain.

My first adjustment was rather painful. But yeah my cheeks and lips and mouth were all fine for a long time and then I had to have surgery and they intubated me and the tube was kind of heavy with the breathing circuits so it rested to the right side of my mouth. That made my inner lip rub against the braces and that sliced it up good . Sometimes I will get random pains for like one tooth. Hang in there.

I am so glad you said you get a random tooth that hurts. My front tooth as been killing me the last few days. I was wondering if that was normal. My first adjustment is next week. Plus they are putting the Rpe and replacing the three brakets that broke. Just in time for Christmas!!

Yeah I am not sure if you have what are called "Stops" on any of your archwires but my ortho works with them they stop the teeth from moving in a certain wrong direction and to give her more control over the tooth movement. I had a distal Stop between my my lowr right canine and lower right later insicor. That Canine tooth was the only tooth that had been hurting. It could not move anymore because of the stop and it was starting to hurt. She took the distal stop off a few days ago and I feel such relief. However the teeth with the elastics on upper 4 lower 6, hurts and those are the only four tee that hurt as of now. Although, everyonce in a great while my front top tooth hurt. No need to worry. I did not have any wires changed, they all stayed the same again. She said next time she is goint to do more wire changing.

Uggggggggg hate spacers my top teeth are so sore!! My braces are getting on my last nerve right now!!

RPE=complete torture!!! o my goodness I have been gagging all day!! It is even hard to swallow. I tried to eat but I keep gagging. Also I can't talk right I had to pass a call at work bc the guy could not understand me!!! 6 months not sure if I can handle it. I broke down I tears!!! This has to get better or I will freak out!!! Ugggggggggg

Rpe update... I can not talk this thing is horrible!!! I would not have gotten braces if I knew it would be like this. I want to rip it out!!!!!!!

Tonight will be the first time I will be doing two turns on the Rpe. I am thinking about Having a few glasses of wine first. I don't want to do this at all. h

So I have turned the Rpe 4 times now. It feels like my head it being squeezed. But the last time I turned it was not that bad. But I hate this thing!!!! I am counting down the days till this thing comes out. I really hate that I can't talk right. 6 more months!!!
