Damon+elastics

I have the Damon clear on and recently my dentist has given me elastics to put on to 'speed up my treatment' (I don't reckon they'll work). They go from my canines to my molars (furthest back) and I have to wear them all the time except for eating. They are so strong I can't even yawn properly. My farther keeps on making jokes about my 'crocodile mouth snapping shut', but the weird thing is, he's not wrong. They restrain me so much!
What should I do?
