what an amazing progress- im jealous, i wish my teeth are done in 9 months like you!! yes, the elastics will fix your bite

Wow! Great progress. My uppers are a little bit like yours, actually. (well, they are now!) Waiting on the gaps to close too. Hope it doesn't take forever!

Ok so it's been a year and 6 days with braces :) lots or changes in that time. My gaps are almost completely closed, although on my top teeth the gum in between the gaps has kind of come down towards the brackets. I'm trying to massage and brush it cos I don't want it to cover the bracket. The ortho has said once the gaps are completely closed I will then have elastics to fix the overbite. Still not 100% on how much longer I'll have them, I'm sure the ortho will know more once he is happy with how the gaps have closed.

Depending on how the teeth continue to move I may need my last bottom ones bracketed up so they align with the rest, as they are currently sitting a little differently.

Not sure if I mentioned it in my first post, but when I finally get the braces removed the ortho is going to shave the bottom/tops of my teeth so they are straight and not jagged like they currently are :)
