contouring my bottom teeth in two days

I went in today to have a spacer put back in that had fallen out. My ortho is going to do some contouring on my bottom teeth on Thursday. They are kinda v shaped and I have contact at the top of the teeth and spacing by the gums. My teeth are really flared. I am hoping she will also put a thicker wire on so that hopefully will start to pull the teeth back. I am so ready to get rid of the flare. It is really strange to touch my tongue to the bottom of my teeth and not feel any over lapping. I am kinda obsessed with my teeth now that I have braces. After all I had to wait til I was 51 to bite the bullet and spend the money on myself. Today I also got some acrylic put on one of the spike that has really been cutting my tongue. I really pray the tongue thrust get corrected. I really don't want all this money and pain be in vain.

My spacer just came out again. Fortunately, I got it back in with floss. I am starting to think maybe I should go on a liquid diet tomorrow, so that I don't lose the spacer again.
