NOTE TO SELF: never get elective maxillofacial surgery in the Netherlands.

Oh my goodness how awful it must have been for you! And I had dental surgery with intravenous anesthesia at a teaching hospital!

That being said- WOW!!!!!!!!! The difference already is amazing! I cannot wait to see updated photos of your bite! I cannot believe your hardware is off and your gaps are closed in so little time! That is wonderful!

Time for a little update:
I am doing fine, the difference I see when comparing my teeth from the start to now is already amazing. Ok, it is nowwhere near the final "product" but I am getting there.
My teeth have come together after the surgery. A tiny gap still remains between my top teeth and some small gaps between my bottom teeth. The bottom teeth are currently being drawn together by a double chain (one below and one on top of the wire). Next ortho appoinment is in august.
