OK - been just over a week since my last adjustment - got heavier wires and SWEET pink ligs

No pain to speak of - although I do have a long wire on the bottom that I need to get trimmed.... just too busy with work to make it to the ortho's office.... Oh well - that is what wax is for! Pretty happy with the progress so far - I am just about a week shy of 3 months in these babies! Wished I had done this years ago, but what can you do. I was always pretty happy with my smile - just really wanted to close those old upper extractions gaps (and wasn't keen on two bridges or implants). Now I get the added bonus of closing the gaps and straightening my teeth too - YAY!

So attached is a comparison shot of 2 weeks in and now (3 months in) - pretty pleased so far!

OH - one more thing - pics of my initial impressions.... wow - like I said before - I was always pretty happy with my teeth, I must have been looking at a picture of someone else and not in the mirror.... holy smokes my teeth needed these braces!! I am glad to be able to check out the impressions - I think the lack of color (and lips, and gums, and fillings) helps really illustrate the size, shape, location and layout of my teeth.

For your viewing pleasure (or not - WARNING not for the weak of heart  )
