Wow, that top wire is basically straight now! Amazing progress! And the bottoms don't look far behind either.

Hi both,

Yeah the bottom brace has only been on 2 weeks today!! I'm surprised, can definitely feel the movement...

Next adjustment is 23 July. Hopefully in another 2-3 months things should be mostly straight I'd imagine.

Just a little update. New wires today, thicker than before so a little sore.

Nearly 5 months on top and 6 weeks on bottom.

Probably a slightly flattering one of now:

WOW.... ur teeth are looking great! I can't believe how clear ur braces are, I could even see them in the first pic you had posted with them. I drink so much coffee I just went with regular metal, I'd rather see silver than dingy yellow

Hi Rena,

I probably have about the same amount of time left as you now - 3 months. Today I had some disking done to my two front teeth which has subtly tidied them up.

Not always easy to show in photos due to different angles, lighting, quality of picture etc. But it has been so worth the time and money to get this improvement for me. The bottoms weren't cleaned today and perhaps will also be disked to improve their finish also I hope.

Couple of pics in different light from today.

I love your before and afters here! And I'm also jealous of your white wire too! Does it cause sensitivity to have the teeth shaped? It makes me cringe a bit to think about but I'd really like my jaggedy bottom teeth smoothed out after my treatment lol,

Hi Abi,

Thanks! I didn't feel a thing. Obviously there are limits to how much they can remove it is small but makes a subtle difference. As with anything it becomes the norm after a few days.

As I say, I think some tidying can be done on my bottoms too.

Cheers

your teeth look amazing man... real inspiration...

a quick question though... not sure if your ortho had addressed this but ur top teeth arent perfectly aligned with your bottom... (i.e. the top two teeth are not perfectly coming down the front bottom teeth) wondering if this is common...

Thank you all,

They were never going to be perfect but a marked improvement. Alignment was never mentioned.

Cheers
