So here's my teeth from when I first got my braces, to when I got my first adjustment.

You can dramatically see how straight have gotten. My two front teeth have straightened more with the thicker wire, but my two laterals are falling so far behind that it's scaring me! I can imagine the pain I'll experience when they have to be pulled forward! OWCH.
They're actually getting quite annoying, I think to myself "How could I think this was normal to have two teeth there? this isn't what a proper mouth should feel like! I need straight teeth NOW! so basically, for the last 10 years or so of my life, I havn't been using my canines or laterals...

Next appointment is in september! 26th I think. REALLY wish they'd put springs on my wires and attach brackets to my laterals. I want them to be moving FORWARD already!!!

Well! Oh my gosh, time flys so fast!

I got brackets put on my two lower molars to pull everything into line. The ortho said my bottom row are perfect! It's only the top row that needs work. So anyway,
I got springs put on my wire to push my teeth apart, so they could attach a bracket to my laterals. I had the wire "activated" more on my second visit. Damn the springs HURT! so now I have a crazy overbite happening, but it means space is being created!

My two extraction holes are closing up majorly, which is awesome! Everything's moving back and into place. Brushing my teeth is becoming a challenge though because of the springs :(

I go back to perth on the 13th January I think, so hopefully, HOPEFULLY I'll get brackets on my two laterals!! Can't wait! But it's going to be, PAINFUL. :(

The ortho has kept two upper molar brackets "unused", twice. So, I'll be eating, and one will break off and I won't notice. It got replaced, but now the other wife broke off and I've eaten that one too! The ortho doesn't know but damn, I feel like a bad person :( had anyone else had this problem? I don't eat anything hard, no soft drinks, lollies or chocolate :(

I'll update you guys with some pictures soon! Just been so flat out busy with work lately :(

Wow sounds like a lot has been happening!! That's fantastic! Only not so good that the springs have been painful and you've been swallowing brackets!!??!!!! Do you eat or drink anything too hot or too cold because I've heard that that may loosen up the glue... and also things that are acidic or toothpaste that is too harsh...(just some ideas).

Looking forward to your photos :)
