Two Stories in One: Our His and Hers Matching Braces

Well tomorrow is the big day, my fiancé and I are both getting braced. In honor of that I figured I'd post the customary "before" pictures. Mine are on top, and his are on the bottom, shared with his permission.

Me- Metal uppers tomorrow, later metal lowers and a Liberty-Bielle (Herbst-like) appliance. Crowding, and big overbite and overjet (don't remember the numbers). Sentence is 2 years.

Him- Full metal going on tomorrow, sentence of 1 to 1.5 years. He's most concerned with the lower crowding, which happened after his lower wisdom teeth were removed.

I'm have butterflies of nervousness and anticipation, but I'm really excited to start the journey. It'll be a marathon of an appointment, records and bracing x2, but by this time tomorrow we'll both be arch-wired.

I can't help but think what he was thinking when you asked to photog his before teeth. "You want what, honey? Whatever, here - [GRIN]" Now he's probably thinking "Here's my braced smile. Now that we're celebrities, we have to keep our fans happy!"
