Haven't updated in a while. Great progress with braces. 
Class III occlusion has been corrected to class II and on the road to become class I!! Top archwire was changed last Thursday to 18/25, don't know what that means 
Lower archwire is now in 'stabalisation' mode, meaning I have two metal springs on either side of the arch. Mhm, isn't scary as it sounds! Au revoir for now!

Got elastics today! Strangely, only for 16 days! Have to change them three times per day, but the short time frame compensates for this. Next month is my 'final wire' day and only a few months to go till my debracing day! *excitement*!

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE! Greetings from NZ
So 20 months into my braces journey, I finally popped up again onto this forum, been a little busy these days sorrryyyy. The end is near, not near enough. I am getting impatient, and slightly bored with all these adjustments. Elastics are back on again, second molar upper to bow hook lower teeth, difficult to reach but managing. The other day, I somehow got courageous and asked my ortho about my debanding date. His reply? Vaguely meant 4 more adjustments ish and apparently, the final step is to get the teeth into the beginning metal wire, the uber flexible one so the teeth can settle down for 1 month.
This has been such a loooong journey. Do I regret it? No, absolutely not, I am excited for my new straight teeeth!!! No more being a gap-ed tooth girl

DEBANDING DATE SET! 18th Feb!!! WOOOOT! The end is near!
Braces are coming off 2 months before planned because I am moving countries and it is farrr too difficult at this stage to find orthodontists and not to have to pay an extra huge cost. Ahh I am taking my impressions for retainerstomorrow! Clear Overlay at night with wire at back of lower teeth.
