Had a fantastic night last night with family, pizza was amazing and the chocolate mud cake was yum lol :-*

I had a HORRIBLE dream last night, that my top front teeth fell out  i always have dreams about teeth crumbling and falling out but this one was like the top teeth were being pulled down by the braces and then they got a massive hole in them and they just clicked out and fell out... and then I could pick them up and click them back in.. and I would play with them with my tongue and they would keep falling out and I would freak out. lol.. What made it even more weird was Robert Pattinson (not so bad lol) was in my dream LOL! and I was like "oh no, you cant see my tooth! its got a hole in it and falling out" and it was like in a shopping centre.. lol and then all these girls come running up and go "omg it's you! its Robert Pattinson" and I am like "yep, that is him girls" LOL!! meanwhile trying to hide my teeth..

HOW FUNNY AND WEIRD IS THAT DREAM! LOL!

I don't like the part about my teeth falling out, but I will take Robert Pattinson in my dreams anyday LOL! :-*

anyway! I am going to gym tonight for the first time in about 3 weeks.. lol, hope I am not to sore tomorrow!

have a good day everyone :)

Enjoy the gym! I went back today after my week off from the sore back. Felt both good and frustrating at the same time.

Ugh, I hate those kinds of dreams (the teeth one's, not the Robert Pattinson one's although I think if I were 10 years younger I'd rather dream of the other guy Jacob than Robert :paperbag: ). I had one just after I got my braces on where all my teeth had fallen out, except the braces were holding them in my mouth and I could just reach up and pluck them out and pop them back in *shudder*.

Didn't end up at gym... gonna start fresh on monday (as I say all the time lol)

I have my party saturday (tomorrow) night! YAYYY! I am gonna be a busy one tomorrow but looking forward to organising and decorating my mums house :)

I just have to make it through work today, ugh... over it.

My teeth seem to be getting less sore, the front teeth, BUT still cannot bite into anything. I feel like if i bite down I am gonna click the teeth out of place or they are gonna dissapear and get pushed into my gums LOL. I will try and bite on them better on the weekend. I don't like trying much at work as I dont want to get food all stuck in them lol.

I am going out for lunch today with a friend of mine, she said she was working in Melbourne this week and I was like YAYYY!! its nice to have someone come into the city so that we can have lunch together :) I mainly just go out with work people!

anyway. sorry I haven't been active much on these boards lately, I am been flat out organising my party, my sisters baby shower and mothers day for my mum. CRAZY TIMES MAY IS! lol. I am busy every single weekend this month... . :yikes:

enjoy the weekend kids! :jump:

Enjoy your party!!

Lol I went to the gym today. 40 minute workout, 1 1/2 hours of gabbing

The biting into things thing will calm down, although unless it's something soft like bread I still don't feel comfortable biting into stuff. Always feels like I'm going to knock the front brackets off when I do so all kinds of weird things get eaten with a knife and fork (like toasted sammiches).

Hi all

Just a quick update, nothing spesh lol

Had a great birthday party! It was hard trying to eat the food, I had a few party pies and sausage rolls and little ocean franks lol. I also made some sandwiches so that I could eat those too.

I drank alot of champagne lol, so the next day was not so pretty. I tell ya, sorry if its TMI but it is not fun at all being sick while in braces and having the lingual arch up the top lol. Lets just say I am never eating ocean franks again for a very long time LOL! sorry to gross you all out!

Apart from that, my teeth are doing ok (considering all the sugar that would of been coated over them... ugh!). I had to laugh, I woke up in the morning after my party and thought “oh no!! I have to brush my teeth!” so i stumbled out of bed and tried to find my toothbrush and was like huh? Then I walked into the bathroom (as I was staying at my mums) and my toothbrush, waterpik was all in the bathroom near the sink, I had even taken my make up off and taken all my jewellery off! LOL so I must of brushed my teeth the night before, which I do not remember doing at all! HAHA! :biglaf: I had to laugh, apparently at night my sister was saying before I went to bed I was saying over and over again “oh no, oh no , oh no my teeth, oh no oh no i have to brush them” :-} and she kept saying “its ok you did it” LOL geez... not drinking for a while now I don’t think lol, mind you, we have that much alcohol left over from the party its crazy! Haha :-*

I have my first adjustment NEXT WEEK! on the 14th! YAY! can’t wait to hear how things are going! :-*

Also, I noticed that my archwires are sticking out the back of my molar bands and my ortho has bent them over, so they are not going to fall out and they are not rubbing on my gums (yet) and i cannot believe how much my teeth have moved already, the wire poking out was quite long! I am excited by this lol :jump:

I also had photos taken on Saturday night, just my sister taking them with my camera, and you know what, i don’t care that I have braces on, they don’t look to bad, and no one said anything bad about them, so I am happy :D You can see my extraction gaps in some photos which I am like ARGH lol but they will close up one day and all will be good lol.

That is about it for now! Keep smiling!
 8) :rawk:

Glad your party went well! Laughing at you stressing about your teeth and then forgetting you'd even brushed them!

Shuddering at the thought of being sick. I've been terrified of that since getting them on!!! Even the thought of it makes me feel kind of green. Good to know it's just as bad as I've been imagining :P I can now continue to be terrified!

Hope you're feeling a whole lot better by today!

Glad your birthday party was a great time!

While possibly there was a little TMI- it was also good information as I have been scared to death of a similar situation, but I guess nothing can be done bout it. If it happens it happens :FeelSick:

I had a similar situation with the brushing while intoxicated experience then forgetting about it at a party we had in april, I ended up brushing teeth 2 times before I would believe my partner- ( I had to be shown the wet tooth brush, and reminded about the very strong minty flavor in my mouth LOL)

Glad all is going well good luck on your adjustment- can't wait to hear about it. Will post after mine on Wednesday- wow it's only a couple of days away!

I am feeling much better today and have decided its time to stop letting myself go on all these fatty sugar loaded snacks and start getting back into gym and losing a bit of weight cos I have gained a bit! lol

Debinator - LOL had to laugh that you have done the same thing with wondering whether you have brushed your teeth or not, silly alcohol LOL I am pretty sure I won't be drinking that amount for a while now lol :) good luck at your adjustment on wednesday, (wednesday is tomorrow here in Australia lol) hope it goes well and can't wait to hear about it!

I will post some pics next week when I get mine done

well, another day another dollar... its cold and wet here today, I just want to go home and snuggle up in bed!
