Yay! They look so good! How are you finding the retainer?

I have 1 stubborn tooth on my lowers that won't move into line and I reckon it will end up having to stay that way. Other than that, I'm really happy. Gunning for an early September debracing!

Thank you peppy They retainer is fine, I will just have to learn how to floss with it, it looks complicated.

Thank you paulas He will make both upper and lower removable retainers when i get uppers off

That's great, so you don't have to wear removable retainers after? These are things that i never think to ask my dentist!

Me too! I got my braces on July 9th 2013 so it's been almost 3 weeks. I've already noticed some movement particularly on my top row of teeth where one of my teeth was protruding. I'm glad the pain wore off within 3 days with the help of ALOT of dental wax!. My first tightening is on August 15th so just over 5 weeks from the start date. This may be a little premature, but does anyone know when they are told how long the braces will be on? I was told my case is pretty "straight forward", no elastics or major changes to my bite.

That depends on your case. I thought mine wasn't a difficult case and I didn't have any of the things your mentioned, however I got them for 6 months. In my case my dentist never told me for how long I was gonna get them on.
