When I was 9, I fell and broke off my front tooth. The dentist capped it and it's still on! Needless to say, it needs to be replaced now that i am 34. So my dentist sent me to an orthodontist to fix everything else first: Severe Deep Bite
upper teeth biting forward of lower teeth
lower teeth biting to left of uppers
overlapping teeth
The cost is $4800 and I've had upper braces since 10-14-03 and lowers since 10-12-04. God only knows when I'll get them off. I chose metal brackets so I wouldn't have to worry about staining. I don't mind them too much, except the pain. My new crown will cost $1000, so this is an expensive little project I've taken on. It will be sooo worth it to finally have nice teeth.
