6 Month Smile Braces...7 months in (pics) 35 M
Hi all,
Like many others I stumbled across this site while researching braces. For anyone considering/researching 6MS braces I hope you find this informative.
This will be a brief overview of my treatment with 6MS so far.
After being told at my initial consultation that my case was "complexed" I was given a 9 month time scale for completion. Cross bite, under bite and whatever else was that had an orthodontic name, I had it. Braces were fitted on the 19th of August so I've had almost 7 months of treatment, before and after pics below to illustrate progress.
(Excuse the stained powerchain )
Initially the braces were painful in all sorts of ways but I soon got used to them and I'm delighted with the results so far. My dentist offered to prolong the treatment so that she can try something that may or may not work, whatever it was has escaped my memory and I agreed to let her try
I highly recommend 6MS braces to anyone considering them, I honestly thought for years that my teeth were a lost cause.
Peace
X

Wow! Your teeth look amazing
I have heard lots about 6MS but am wondering is this the same as "faster braces" I have overcrowding on the right upper and lower and have been advised that these "faster braces" are the best option for me

Wow - that is great progress. I too am considering 6 Month Smiles or Fastbraces. Has your dentist told you what sort of retainer you will need after?

Hi Xclusive. I'm a Dentist from downunder and am looking at bringing 'Fastbraces' into my Practice. Are you able to post your X-Rays so I can have a look at your roots. The X-Ray is called an OPG and would like to see the first one and the latest one as I want to see if there is any root movement as this determines long term stability of the Treatment.
