I also can't wait for mine to get debraced. So tired of them now that I'm not seeing any improvement.
Thank you. I was expecting it around then but would have been happy to go on for a couple more months if necessary. Looking at my teeth, I think they are about as good as they are going to be but it is so difficult guessing what the final result will look like behind all the metal work. Hang in there, it might not look like a lot is going on but I'm sure plenty is as the roots start to align and the bite settles. Your teeth are looking great and I keep meaning to tell you so. Love your recent colours BTW, I went for boring black again.

I admire your patience and perseverance! I don't know if I can even do 2 years! I suppose patience is really a virtue...and I'm doubting myself if I have both.

Yes, I was hoping the Christmas theme ligs would get me in the Holiday mood. So far it's working for I bought my first present today. I hate shopping last minute and looks like this weekend will be mostly dedicated to Christmas shopping. God help my wallet! Certainly, getting braces didn't!

Hi Metallika, you are right, there's nothing cheap about orthodontics, or Christmas, but on both counts it's money well spent. I don't know if I have been patient as I've really enjoyed the whole journey and every month longer it goes on, the cheaper the overall monthly cost, the more times I go and hang out with some really great ortho staff and the more opportunities I get to remind myself that I'm doing something for me! Well that's one way to look at it I suppose.

Have a lovely Christmas. Neil.

I'm going to say this really quietly in case you think I'm odd but I'm missing wearing my elastics. Everything feels so loose and free and I feel like it needs to be tight and doing something. I guess this is how it will feel when my braces come off but as I still have powerchains on both arches, expect it will feel really, really strange when I'm finally finished.

I heard that!! As someone who is desperately eager to start fixing my bite mechanics, I am super jealous that you're on the other side. I hope everything settles nicely for you during your homestretch.

An end of year photo. I think it's starting to look pretty good, what do you think?

Your teeth are looking incredible Neil! I haven't been on here for a few weeks and have been having a painful time myself so it's nice to see a positive photo.

Thank you. I'm pretty pleased I must admit and not long to go now. I think we have got to a point when it is as good as it can be and any additional movement will have an effect elsewhere so I'm ready to finish now.
