Hello, welcome to the forum. They might use enamel reproximation for that. I do not know for sure. You will probably have a bite turbo though.

Never mind that is ehat he is doing. Because the reason i have a gap between my 2 front teeth is because my top teeth a slightly smaller than my bottom teeth. So he said that he would make bottom teeth match my top teeth by shaving them. But he never said anything about having to have spacers

I do not know this, but if the teeth on top would touch the brackets on the bottom, they put these in to stop this.

Lucky you, if you do not have to have them, it is like having chewing gum on the back of your teeth.

Did you get your full set yet? I also got partial braces and spacers put on yesterday. My ortho did that because I'm getting extractions next week. Were any of your teeth extracted and which ones?

How are you getting on now?

I had partial braces for my upper 6 teeth. I started with brackets and a wire on just 4 for a few weeks. The first week e I maybe had a spacer (a hard plastic blue ring) between 2 of my teeth. It seemed to work really well in just a week.

I eventually had 8 brackets altogether. My orthodontist seems to be a genius as he achieved a lot in a really short amount of time with such a small area.

Good luck!
