I was quite amazed myself. It'd been so long since I'd seen any changes that I was hoping for a lot of movement after my adjustment. I got the movement; however, I wasn't expecting the pain which came along with it! Sometimes the cliche, "No pain, no gain" is fitting in the orthodontic world!

One of my supervisors told me the other day that she never understood why I needed braces and that I had nice teeth. I was polite and said "I didn't get braces for you - I got them for me, so you don't have to understand." I think I handled the situation well. She wasn't offended or anything by what I said. So...

Funny People...

I was showing a customer a diamond ring the other night and she looked up at me and was STARING at my teeth. Finally I was said, "WHAT?!" and she said I looked like I had diamonds on my teeth. These Damons are giving me a flashy, diamond-like grill! LOL

I had to share my story with y'all. The other night at work, I was talking to a girl I work with and her daughter -- she can't be more than 3 or 4 years old. Her daughter is really shy and has never said a word to me but out of no where she yells, "I like your teeth!" Her mom started laughing and told me that it was the first time she had ever seen braces. I thought it was the cutest thing in the world!!! Gotta love children![/b]
