Louise's update

#1 Post by Louise »

Hi everyone. Got my braces adjusted yesterday. My uppers were adjusted for the sixth time and the lowers have been adjusted for the second time.

My appointment was originally for next thursday but my lig had fallen off at the back of my lower brace and the wire had become loose. I decided it would be a good idea to phone the orthodontist and let them know. They then told me that I had to bring my appointment forward so that someone could take a look.

So I got my appointment yesterday and I was seen by a different orthodontist rather than my usual one which was slightly strange as I'am so used to my normal orthodontist. I got my wire fixed and at the same time the orthodontist decided to just carry out my adjustments there and then so that I don't have to go back next week.

I'am not sure if it's because I was seen by someone else but my teeth and gums have been so sore today. Recently my teeth have stopped hurting after my adjustments but never mind I can cope with abit of pain.

Here are some new pictures. My lower teeth don't look like they have moved much but my bite certainly feels alot better.

I agree with KK there. Your top arch is looking fantastic :)

It's normal to feel soreness after the first few adjustments...so maybe that is why you are feeling some pressure :)

Good luck with your treatment.
