Yesterday 05/17/2006 I went to my ortho's for the 9th turn of the RPE.

It turned the screw for 3 ticks. Nothing to note.

Yesterday 05/24/2006 I went to my ortho's for the 10th turn of the RPE and guess what? Something has gone bad. I told him that one of my upper tooth where the rpe is attached seems to be coming out from the gum. WTF
He decided to move back of 3 turns and to wait without doing anything for a month. He want to check me in 15 days.

The summary is now:
0) 03/15/2006 RPE on
1) 03/22/2006 2 RPE turns
2) 03/29/2006 2 RPE turns
3) 04/05/2006 2 RPE turns
4) 04/12/2006 4 RPE turns
5) 04/19/2006 2 RPE turns

Last wednesday 06/07/2006 I went to my ortho's for the 11th turn of the RPE.

It turned the screw for 3 ticks. I thought he said to wait for a month. May be 15 days was enough.

Last wednesday 06/28/2006 I went to my ortho's for the 12th turn of the RPE.

It turned the screw for 4 ticks.

He smoothed one of my lower right molar to better match with the moved upper and told me I'm going to keep the RPE until november, I actually thought to take it away earlier. He's going to see me next month.

Yesterday 09/13/2006 I went to my ortho's and he said I was done with the turns. Next month he's going to take away the RPE

Last wednesday 10/11/2006 I went to my ortho's to take away the RPE but he said my teeth were still too much soft. So he decided to keep on the RPE and to add the real brace at the next appointment.

Last tuesday 10/24/2006 my ortho has finally putted braces un my upper teeth.
The process has been fast and painless but for the few following days i couldn't bite anything because it hurted.
Now it's getting better.

Hey Luca!
Glad to hear you've gotten braced! I guess it does hurt quite a lot during the first days but afterwards it's just great! They will end up feeling like a part of yourself!
I've never had one of those devices but I think they work really well, a lot of people here have them!

I hope you get the chance to post some pictures for us! I love pics!

Last tuesday 11/15/2006 my ortho has taken my RPE away!!!
I had been living with it for 8 month.
I can touch again my palate with my tongue.
I feel good!
