Thanks to Lisa65, LateStarter, KK, joney, and Spanner

#106 Post by victor36 »

Thank you, Lisa65, LateStarter, KK, joney, and Spanner for responding and for your support and inspiration; it's like having my own ArchWired fan club hahaha :D

And yes, I am still in the triangular elastics; I just removed them for the picture. I'm still in the 1/8" size which feels tighter and even *I* can see the difference in my teeth. As annoying as they are, they do the job!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Victor

hello KittyMeow84!

#110 Post by victor36 »

hello, kittymeow84! Thanks for your compliments! I owe much of my progress to the faithful wearing of elastics... I hate wearing them, but I know it's only short-term. My ortho originally said treatment was going to last 18 months without extractions. Well, so far no extractions, so lets hope these babies are removed by August 2008 as originally diagnosed!

All the best,

~Victor

A big thanks to Ken, Stephanie and cmm1280 for visiting my thread and for your kind words of encouragement. :D

I know everyone must be feeling a little fragile after what happened to the moderator... (clears throat)... but rest assured I will continue to post pictures of my progress because I believe that it encourages others, as well as myself. I wanted to add my own 2 cents but everyone had pretty much expressed my view before the thread got locked. If it really was for "research" I wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors and thank her for continual, positive support. If anything in that e-mail was a lie, then I hope that she sees the error of ways and that she knows that karma reflects back everything you give out... But I do want to send a big word of appreciation and gratitude to the Administrator for keeping ArchWired's best interests at heart and to Lisa65 for not only having the courage to step forward, but to make it publicly known to the AW Community as well...

There. I have spoken. Sorry for the rant.

p.s. If you don't know what happened, click here before Lynn deletes the thread... [oops guess she already has. oh well. it's for the best]

Happy Holidays everybody,

~V

Hi, Miss Smiley! It's good to be back-- To me, it did not really feel like a hiatus; I just had nothing new to report/show... but anyway thanks for your compliments!

Haunted Mansion Holiday ends January 6.

VIctor, I've been checking the boards everyday except for the few days I had off for the Christmas Holiday. I noticed you hadn't been on in a while, so you were missed. Also, thanks for the heads up on the Haunted MAnsion, I should really pay better attention to the passholder magazines and e-mails from Disney.

Miss Smiley: Yeah its been a while since I posted, although, like you, I would look on the board to see people's progress (but I sometimes don't log in).. how sweet of you to say that you missed me.. thank you... awww  It's just that I've been trying to look for an additional job 'cuz 1 is not cutting it right now... any suggestions? Who's hiring? If so, PM me please  Also I'm glad I was able to help you with the Haunted Mansion Holiday. I didn't know the date off the top of my head, I had to look it up online. Oh, and BTW my pass expires next month.  :?

Andantae: Welcome to ArchWired! Are you new to the board? Because I don't recognize your name... In any case, welcome, thank you for your kind words, and I'm glad you like my avatar! If you look on page 9 you can see the full-size version of it. I love to inspire people on this Board and with my eye-popping graphics, I know it grabs people's attention! 8) :o  See you in the forums!

Until next time,

~Victor

Hey Victor

I was glad to read that recent events on this forum won't stop you from posting your inspirational pictures. Thanks for your kind comments about the "professionalism" of my pics, by the way. My husband takes them for me. He's a keen photographer (by keen I mean he's been into photography for the last 30 odd years) and macrophotography is one of his areas of interest. So taking close-ups of my teeth is a great way for him to practise using his macro lens and ring flash

I hope you had a great Christmas, and good luck on the job front! Look forward to seeing more of your pics soon. I am hoping that eventually my teeth will look like that.

Lisa

Thank You Lisa and Denise!!!!!!!

Lisa65: Hello, and thank you for you kind words and warm Christmas wishes! I will be posting new pictures in the next few weeks because my 11-month anniversary is on the 6th and I go for an adjustment on the 10th. And thanks for your encouragement re: job searching... think good thoughts for me! So stay tuned; come back and visit when I have those posted!

Denise: Welcome to my thread, and thank you for your encouraging compliments. It's only been 10 months but it feels like i've had braces on forever. Quite a drastic change from February, huh? :) I wonder if Dr. F. will make any decisions re: how much longer to keep me in braces... hopefully it will be sooner than August. Wish me luck!

I want to thank everyone who has posted their kind, encouraging words on my thread this year, and I wish everyone a Happy, Safe, Loving, and Prosperous 2008!!!!
