Hooray!!!!!!!!! We are back in buisness!

I missed you all so! I kept wondering how everyone was progressing in our time apart ;)

Since I last posted I have been to another appointment. I had xrays done of my root positioning and Dr. told me I am more than halfway thru!!! WAHOOOOOO!

I am now wearing rubberbands for 12 to 18 hours a day, and next appointment he will be removing and repositioning some of my brackets.

I am so thrilled that this process is taking less time then initially anticipated! I will take some pics and post them in a few.

SO good to be back!!!!!!!!

During my first appointment, my orthodontist stated that I would require some bone remodeling.

Did your ortho mention anything about bone remodeling?

Hey Real :)

When you say bone remodeling do you mean re-shaping the teeth?
I know they will be doing that for me as well as some bonding at the end of my journey.

My teeth are so worn down and chipped from the position they were in initially that even when they are "straight" they aren't the same size.

Honestly, when they were crooked, I hardly noticed how much they were worn down. Now that they are all in line is when you can REALLY tell.

I am interested to hear what your doc meant by bone though!

Hi Katie,

OMG, your teeth look amazing!! They have come such a long way. You must be so pleased. How do you find elastics?

Glad to hear things are moving along so smoothly :D .
Keep smilin'! :)

Jenny!
My old friend :)
I've thought of you often; since we both got our braces at the same time...I've wondered how you were progressing too!
Get some pics up girl!!!

The elastics are given by my ortho. There are diff sizes, and strengths; only the doc would know for sure which you need at a given time.

Right now I am in the HEAVY with the Turtle on the front of the bag :D
