I am bored with mine too. My bottom is shifting in a negative way and I'm not too happy!

Yes!

Well had my adjustment this morning, lower wire stayed the same at 17x25 tma. Upper wire was changed to 17x25 tma. Coil springs stayed the same but posts were added between the canine and bicuspid for space control. Heavy ties were placed from the post to back 6's. My elastic configuration changed to upper 4s to lower 6s with a toucan elastic 3/16 2.5oz..

So after about 30 minutes of getting my added braces gear my teeth started to really ache, mostly the pain is/was on the left upper side. They kept me up for a good portion of the night but eventually I fell asleep---when I woke up the pain is nearly all gone and my bite on the left side feels almost perfect. Not to sure why the right side hasn't moved any, but this maxillary cant is becoming more noticeable and I can't wait until my right side uppers start coming downwards.

Being 2/5ths done feels really good mentally too, it's a nice milestone to have!

Well I had my adjustment this morning, it was a longer appointment than previous times. The upper wire is now a super shiny 2014 model with leather interior and heated seats.... actually it's a 19x25 stainless steel ( very shiny though truly) with a torque adjustment in the left molar. I have class 1 elastics from the top wire post from between 3 and 4 to tooth 6. The bottom wire stayed the same but a full powerchain was added. The class 2 elastic configuration stayed the same with the light toucan 3/16 size from upper 4 to lower 6. Yes it sounds complicated but I will post a photo shortly.

The receptionist just got her braces put on recently (she's probably 35ish) and we were joking about being kids again, she said her daughter just got her braces off then a week later she got hers on...her daughter wants to drive the car now because it would seem they have switched roles hahahaa. Funny receptionist. It was nice to see another adult in person with the exact same braces! They don't look bad at all.

As far as pain goes, I can't feel a whole lot of it. As always tomorrow will probably be bad hahaha. Same old, same old

Today was my 7th adjustment, no wire changes, just a bend was placed in the upper right lateral area to rotate the central incisor inwards. They removed the lower powerchain and upper tie backs and did not replace them, not sure if they were supposed to be replaced but I'm not going to complain because they were experts at trapping food lol.

The ortho says he's getting down to the minor details phase as my bite and alignment is quite good and I was happy to hear that!

I am ecstatic that I'm at least 50% finished, possibly am farther along then I think, these 9 months with braces went by so fast...kudos to veginess for saying just get braces because the time goes by anyway. Here's to a smooth and quick 9 months or less.

Later fellow brace faces!
