Aw, don't you look good. Congrats.

Hope you enjoy(ed?) the corn on cob and ribs. Man, do I want to hack into ribs with my teeth and not a knife!

Thanks for your kind words! I was very happy (and cold...it was 28degrees F) in the pictures...still am happy!

Hope you enjoy(ed?) the corn on cob and ribs. Man, do I want to hack into ribs with my teeth and not a knife!
It was like a cartoon! I ate 5 ears of corn (full size summer-ears) and a plate full of ribs. Everyone else had a "polite" portion so I could make a pig of myself. Image I love my family!!

It was very worth it!!! I followed it up with some of my held-over Christmas toffee. ALL MINE!

Hi,

maybe you could name your newborn retainer "Karen".
Then maybe this will happen :

Jenn running up and down the house.
Karen, Karen, where are you ?
Ah, here you are, glad I found you.
And her family members thinking
oh yes, Jenn acts strangely again today.

Anyway, congratulations !!
Very nice teeth and a gorgeous smile.
And indeed a lovely retainer.

Well, it didn't take long for my lowers to realize they were free again. Two of them have started to rotate back to their pre-braces position. It's only a smidge, but it is very obvious when I look down from above at the arch.

My ortho said that the retainer I get on Monday will push them back without any problem...in other words, they're not going to move so far they can't be put back with the retainer.

I think it's probably going to hurt though!

Hi,

There was about a week between the removal of my braces and me getting my
Essix retainers. Both upper and lower front teeth did move quite a bit during that
time. When I finally could put in the Essix retainers, they were very very tight.
But it didn't hurt. I think because this movement is more like teeth that are still
a bit loose, rather than the movement done by braces. Anyway, still, after more
than a month, everytime when I do not wear the retainers, even only for some
hours, they move a lot, and everytime the retainers are very tight for about an
hour. But it doesn't hurt. Good luck !
