I'm concerned about my maxillary cant. The red line in photo 1 shows the tilt of right higher than left, vice versa in the photo. Is this noticeable to any of you? It has gotten worse and my midlines and getting farther off my facial midline too. The bite on the right side feels off a bit as well, like a rocking feeling in my jaw when closing.

IF the ortho said to you tomorrow he was done, would you be happy with this result? (lines are square to ears and eyes btw)

Here also are my before to 9mo arch pics. Overall I am happy with my progress asides from the mentioned issue above.

Well the 8th adjustment was today, got a new 18x25 stainless steel lower wire which was bent for custom archform to match the top. Also got a blue powerchain on the bottom. The last gray power chain turned greenish yellow due to my curry and chilly consumption haha.

I asked the ortho about the maxillary cant shown in the last photos and he said he really can't do anything about it (kind of disappointing, but I think I'll keep pressing for a better answer!).

Some good news is that he also told me that I am ahead of schedule, by how much I don't know but I was happy to hear that!

Next appointment is August 20th.

Awesome for you! I keep wanting to ask if he still thinks my treatment will take 2.5-3 years or if he thinks it will be shorter...but I'm scared to hear the answer! LOL!

Yeah it can be a painstaking thing waiting to be finished. I hardly even notice my braces now so I don't think about it anymore!

I may be in the minority on this opinion but I prefer having braces longer for one simple reason. I had braces for 5 years and because of how long I had them in I immediately went to night time only use with my retainer. I could tell that I could have gotten my braces off earlier but it was just helping my teeth settle into their new position.

It's great to hear that you've heard positive news from your ortho though!!

Well I'd rather have them on for as long as needed, sure as heck don't want to be re-braced! The straight to night time retainer wear must be awesome!

I am happy about being ahead of schedule. I recently moved away from my city and am 8 hours (return trip) away from my ortho now. So I am in the process of finding a new ortho as I still have probably 4 + appointments plus retainer fitting and check up appointments. I wasn't happy with my ortho either as he seemed to brush off my concerns and not do things he said...still waiting for the bracket repositioning he was supposed to do in march hahaha!

ps 11 months!

So I had my 9th adjustment this morning, the power chain was changed out and the ortho said to stop wearing my class ll elastics until my next appointment. The reason for this is he wants to see if my bite will stay put and also to see if my jaw muscles are going to tighten up again. After wearing elastics full time for 8 months, I'm happy to be free from elastics for at least a month.
