My teeth hurt a bunch today. Don't know why but they do (I hope it's because they're moving) Anyway on my bottom arch I now have a new tooth pain. its like I've just had a whole bunch of beef jerky and my teeth are tired of chewing.
Called the dentist today to look at my sensitive tooth, AND THEY"RE CLOSED!!! Ugh I have to wait another week to have them look at it. So I guess I will tough it out a few more days until I can get in just because I like my dentist so much I really don't want to go see another.
I'm pretty much back to eating like normal again, although chips are kinda a chore and so is crunchy salad. I'm so glad because I may have withered away into nothing
Good news and bad news today. I went to the dentist and I don't have a cavity which is great bad news is that my 2nd molar is sensitive and they don't know why. They applied some flouride to it to try and help it (we'll see) if not they are going to try the laser??
So today was my first day eating out in a restaurant. I had fajitas and they were so yummy. It was a bit awkward whenever the people would come over and talk because I was so paranoid about everything in my braces that I would put my napkin up and talk but other than that it was great. Thankfully I didn't have too much in my teeth by the time I got home because I forgot my toothbrush.
Glad to see you can eat more now, I have a habbit appliance in my mouth and it really sucks . I don't know when my B-day is yet. I have to wait until 3/18/08 when I get this appliance checked. Hope my B-Day is not to far away. Could you give me some pointers on B-Day what to expect and the pain on day 2, 3.
So excited I have a gap!!!! it's about a 1mm gap that is on the incisor we are trying to move to make room. YAY.... Good news too the fact I pulled out the wire is no big deal. My ortho actually laughed when I told her how I did it. She made sure I had it back in and it wasn't bothering me but pretty much told me no big deal until my next appt. So YAY for progress and not jacking up my wire.
Thanks for the happy brace day comment. I sure am drinking a lot of water and eating soft foods. I was actually able to eat a hot dog today on my right side.
Great pics! Are we nerds or what that we get excited about seeing small movement in our teeth. Actually, I'm really impressed with the technology and how our teeth respond. I enjoy your stories - keep posting updates!
I am going on a trip for the first time with my braces. I'm a little nervous as I won't have my beloved waterpik and I have to share a bathroom with 4 other people which will suck. Why you may ask? Well it takes me 20 min each night to do my brushing routine and well that's a long time when you have 3 children fighting for the bathroom. We'll see how it goes!!
Wow. My canine overlaps my tooth too! I have the same top teeth as you, excepted on the other side. I love reading about your progress. Good luck with the journey.
