Thank you cheyeaitsxchelsea!
The bite doesn't seem to be changed at all, which is why I was hoping for elastics or something different at my last appointment, but I am not ready for that yet
. I have power chains on all of my upper teeth, but in sections. The front four have one to keept them altogether, then each side has its own separate chain that is trying to pull my canine over to my molars.
Once they have moved back, then I will be ready for something new according to the doc. Oh how I want these teeth to be into position already!

Re: I am so scared, but so excited
First of all, I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted on the site! I really thought I was going to post more often.
When I initially had my braces put on, I was given 30 months...well here is it just over 22 months later and I have been given a de-bonding date!! Holy Crap! I was shocked, excited, and...sad. I couldn't be happier with the progress I have made so far, they are 120% better than they were before, but I think I am now suffering from wanting more-itis that all my other friends with braces had when it was time to have them removed. I keep wondering if my bite will get better if I leave them on longer, which of course my orthodontist explained that I would actually need jaw surgery to correct it further...scary...
If anyone has gone through surgery for an overbite, I would love to ready your story and see your pics, please send your info over so I can look into that option more.
Here are some pics

Thank you so much Kristiana
It has been a long process, but so worth it all. I think my de-bonding date is going to be a little delayed since a little sliver gap has opened up, but thats ok, should only have about 6 weeks left
