Braced at 24...Oh the floss we thread...

So I just came back from my adjustment...

I have power chains on the bottom and regular bands on top. I have a small gap on the bottom that needs to be closed and hopefully that will happen over the next month. The top feels the same as last time I went in, and my ortho says I should be done in a couple months. My teeth are straight, and that's what I wanted. He says I'm not going to achieve a perfect bite without surgery, and I knew that going into treatment. I'm still going to be in elastics for the next couple months to close up my bite, but I think I only have a month or so left. Once the gap is closed on bottom, I'm thinking I'll have them removed.

He asked me if I had any special event coming up, so I know I could have them removed earlier, but I'm going to tough it out since I know I only have a couple months left and I want my teeth as close to perfect as possible!
