Hi Klobird,

My overjet was 7mm at start of treatment, don't know if it's come in yet. I need to post recent photos as I think now my teeth are somewhat aligned it's a lot more obvious than it was before when they were all crooked and slanted towards one another.

I have the cotton rolls in tonight at home and while they make my cheek look ridiculous they are bringing a lot of relief. Tonight the forsus area started to ache but nothing compared to day 1 of braces.

Hopefully with all your great progress with elastics you won't need forsus. My mouth will move back, the forsus isn't quite as solid as it looks it actually can be lifted and turned to clean under... Which is great from a cleanliness perspective but annoying when i'm eating and it hits my back metal brackets. My teeth don't close all the way down there's maybe a 1mm gap. But at my apt. today only my right side 2nd molars touch. Jude gave me her blog address - so helpful to hear from another adult who has gone through this. Overall its not bad but fingers crossed you get to avoid this creepy device...
