I had always thought I'd rather die than have braces since my job involves a high degree of people interaction however this has not been the case at all, indeed the only thing I regret now is not getting them earlier =)
I guess for me it helps to think of it as a "renovation" project for my appearance, why is calling it a project so important you ask?
Well because projects have end dates and a clear achievable goal (its the way I think due to work lol) - knowing there's an end date lets me know that this not permanent, indeed the only permanent thing about this is the results (provided you wear your retainers) lol and every single little change I see in the mirror further reassures me that this is a work in progress (I take a gazillion photos to pick up on the subtlest of changes)
Whilst the stories on these forum differ the result is always the same => beautiful teeth and a feeling that the pain was well worth it, take heart nickblitz
