That's awesome! I do think that chair side manner between the ortho and team is huge. If they won't answer your questions or explain things to you it's going to be a very long treatment time. Most of us are in this for 2 years with many many appointments so it's always something to consider.

I know jaw surgery is necessary in some cases but that's a major trauma to the body and not something that should be done unless multiple opinions think it's the best/only option.

At the end of the day, this is your body, your treatment and you're likely paying a significant amount of money for it so you should be treated by a professional you feel comfortable with.
The problems:
Lower crowding, a slightly rotated upper canine and a deep bite
