Okay so today I had my consult with my Oral Surgeon, and I went in, turned in my papers and waited like 20 minutes, because if youre even a minute late they will make you reschdule so I went early. (a hour and 40 minute taxi ride) and then I got an xray taken. That was cool because I got to see how my teeth had changed with my braces. They went over like the IV and such and the prescriptions ill be taking. And the Surgeon came in looked at my xray and was like the wisdom teeth have got to go, which walking in there I knew he was going to mention my wisdoms because my Ortho asked him to take them out aswell. Then he was like open your mouth for me, and he looked at the impaction and then I said I always thought it was in the correct perfection position, it just needed space to come down. And he said he couldnt have said it better, and that it will come down pretty fast. So yay Im happy. Im just going to be in loads of pain that day. Wisdoms and an impacted canine exposure all at once.

Chelsea, I had the underside of my tongue clipped as an infant, so I can't tell you if it would be painful. I guess they told my parents that it may have needed to be re-clipped as an adult if I had any trouble with it, but so far so good. I will say though if you are having trouble just sticking your tongue out without pain then it would probably be well worth it.

I have been busy! I am wrapping up finals and my first year of college. So much has happened since I left home. Its crazy to think about. Ups and downs for sure. Anyway!
I havent really noticed much change although on hmm right lateral incisor I have always had decalcification, but as the tooth was brought down from the gum a little more and moved it seems it has gotten worse. I know when they put the etchant on to actually put my braces on the tech was like Dr. Pendell the etchant isnt coming off some of these teeth and he said it wont right away like the other teeth because of the enamel decal. And I didnt think much of it, but like recently ive noticed the tooth looks strange, and the texture isnt smooth it feels pretty rough. Id hate to go to my regular dentist back home (theyre all quacks and jerks. the main reason why im 19 with braces!) and i have an adjustment on May 11th. Should I wait until then? What do yall think it is?
Ill post pictures of it after my classes today.

Ill deff ask at my next appointment for my first adjustment. I hope its nothing too serious. I guess it just looks worse because I had decal right against the gum, but as the tooth has come down more there my normal color above the decal because the tooth has been brought down more.

I called my dentist here in college town (i leave college for home tomorrow. wont be near my lovely dentist for 3 months!) and they were able to squeeze me in because i said "ive recently recieved orthodontia treatment and I think im expierencing root resportion." and she was like 9:30am tomorrow? Im like I think I can do that. Its tricky because my father is driving from two hours north to help me move my stuff back home and its crazy!
So a few weeks ago I noticed that if I drank red koolaid this specific spot on one of my lateral incisors would stain, and ofcourse I would brush and it would go away. But I thought well since the tooth has weak enamel and it has a significant amount of decal thats the problem and that if I brushed well Iwouldnt have an issue. Well that tooth just kept getting worse. And stained more. So yesterday I was brushing and I was like this isnt right so I took one of my "in betweens" tips and it fit right into the stain....and i freaked because it wasnt a stain it was a hole! So I did some research (along with freaking myself out because I recently got my navel pierced and was like well sesame its gonna scar but I love piercings and I have a lot of them so whatever) and I was doing some looking and I remember in a packet i recieved before getting braces it said root resportion and this is what was similar to my case. Basically if its up in the gum line its a cavity and needs a root canal I guess, if its below the root its root resportion and its caused my excessive force from braces and rapid movement. And this tooth has been brought down a lot from the gum and has moved the most out of all my teeth, so I think thats the problem. Basically what theyre going to do is (i think) is take a tooth color and fill it it. It better be tooth colored!!! Its my front teeth!! Because they always fill my fillings with a light gray, and I swear to God if I have light gray on my front lateral I will kill someone.
Ill let you guys know how tomorrow goes. Ill be bust moving back home from college ;[
Heres a picture!

Nasty huh? Makes guys wanna kiss me. XD

I see it, it's very small none the less it's there and it shouldn't be I am vertain you will have tooth covered stuff to cover it.Here I am complaining that I am in 6 days and haven't seen any movement I guess it's a good thing that it's not moving fast to avoid that. When did you start noticing that?
Oh and congrats to college
its great make sure to test the water before jumping in college is sooooo different from high school.
