Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. The cake was amazing but the icing left my teeth feeling icky so I brushed and made sure NONE was left.

Hey everyone!!! :-1
So the most craziest thing happened (even though nothing is really crazy in our brace world) to me today. Well, I woke up with my lower molars on the right side hurting and I can't even chew on that side today and I could yesterday. Well, this morning I do my normal brushing, flossing, and waterpicking routine and could hardly get floss in between my last molar. Now 2-3 hours later my back molar has separated itself from the rest of my teeth. (It decided it wanted to be ANTI-SOCIAL) The gap is so big I can stick my tongue in between there and touch my gum. I guess that saying is so true in the ortho world when they say pain means movement because I sure am having plenty of pain and this tooth has completely separated itself. I tried taking a picture but it will not come out right. I just thought I would come and vent about that. Flossing will be very EASY back there now even though anything probably will not get stuck there. Well, that is all for now my friends. I hope everyone is enjoying their day!!!

I have one like that, though I can't touch my gum in between. EVERYTHING gets stuck in there. My gap is wide enough to fit one of the interproximal brushes in from the side and pull it down through between the teeth.

Oh Kimmie what a shock it must have been for you!! It is so crazy how our teeth seem to be getting a mind of their own! Sorry that your molars have been hurting!! Big teeth means BIG pain!

My teeth are all over the place at the moment (although almost inline...just weirdly spaced since the extractions). What a crazy crazy journey it is for us!!! Are you finding yourself looking different everyday??

Have a fabulous week Kimmie!! And hopefully your sore teeth will settle down now that they've moved to where they wanted to be!!

Hi, Don't worry about the antisocial teeth. my last teeth on the bottom werent bracketed so I got quite big gaps between them and the next teeth. But at my last appointment I got brackets on those teeth and the gaps are gone now....even struggle to fit a tepe brush between them again! Just remember soreness means movement and you'll be even happier with your teeth soon!

@CC-my teeth always seem to amaze me and look different. I know it may be awhile but I really can't wait to see the end result.

@Starfish-so far that's the only molar that has moved. It's quite amazing at what teeth can do over night with braces. My molars have the molar bands on them already. I have an appointment next week and can't wait to see what the ortho has to say about all the movement. This is actually the longest I've been without having an appointment every 3 weeks. This time I went a whole month between appointments and have seen so much movement.
