And yes I am totally counting down to July 1st. The blindingly white color is all done thanks to photoshop. I wish my teeth could be that white, but with my coffee and smoking, I don't think it would be possible (or last very long).

July 1st Update

Hi everybody!!!

So the day has finally come... I'm officially naked as of today! Woo hoo!!! I was surprised by how quickly/easily the brackets and the molar bands were removed... I pictured it being a much more painful process. The cleaning was lengthy and at times uncomfortable, but it was bearable. Impressions were nowhere NEAR as bad as the first go-round, pre-braces.

Will post pictures in the next few days. Overall, I am quite pleased with the end results.

Hi Joney! Thanks for you kind words. It really is a great feeling. 16 months in braces was totally worth it.

Hi XXNECRAXX!! Welcome to my thread and thank you for your kind compliments. My teeth are not actually that white. They are regular human tooth color. I just lightened them using Photoshop. See page 12 if you are interested in the process.
Getting the brackets removed is actually not bad at all, and the cleaning, even though it takes a while to remove all the cement from all tooth surfaces, is not that bad, either. You'll be fine.

Hi Chrissy! Thank you for your nice compliments. The un-natural whiteness is all done thanks to Photoshop, check out page 12 for more details. But I'm glad you enjoyed the 'illusion'. HAHA :D
