Congratulations Kim!
Kim. Your teeth look absolutely beautiful. It has been a pleasure following your journey. Good luck.
thanks guys!
just to give an update- always, ALWAYS wear your retainer!
I took mine off for maybe an hour and a half yesterday when i went out for dinner, and when i put my retainer back in- it doesn't fit right under my previously impacted incisor- under careful inspection, that darn incisor is already on the move backwards, angling it out maybe 1 mm >_>... rude rude rude I tell you!
hopefully it will settle in its place- doesn't help that the retainer's wire isn't exactly centered on my teeth as it should be- my ortho said it should be okay, but now i'm thinking otherwise

Looks Great
Hey Kim,
Well, your teeth look fabulous. I hope they stay in place for you. Even though you're stuck with a retainer now, it must feel good to have all those brackets off. Keep us posted!!

Kim!! I was waiting on an email from Archwired to tell me you had updated but the email never came! I decided to stop by and see how things were going only to see you had your braces removed at the beginning of February!!
You look great!!! I'm so excited for you! Yay! Enjoy it!!! Oh and even after 4 months, teeth will still move if you haven't had your retainer in! My ortho told me to only wear my retainer at night from now on and it's sometimes very tight when I put it in.
Anyway, congrats!!!!

ORtho appointment today- month after braces off check up I had my retainer modified so that the wire fits perfectly- my ortho says this should stop my incisor from sliding back like it seems to want to do
They took pictures- these are them! lol me and the assistant were having fun with the smile pictures- she kept the silly one
she also took profile pictures to show the difference in my jaw- wow! I need to get a copy of my original pre-braces picture to show you all- but what a difference!
retainer is comfortable- well, maybe not anymore after the adjustment on it >_< ... but I don't even notice it anymore- which is good! my speech isn't as sloppy either [phew!] so all seems well- my next ortho appointment is in 6 months- I just its wearing this puppy 24/7 until then!

thanks guys- I felt like those pics are much better than my attempts )
you can see my incisor flared up on my top right [your left] very well in these pics too- hopefully with this adjustment in the retainer it will get better- I already felt pressure on my incisor yesterday- here's to positive thinking!
