Oy... What a week!

Went in on Wednesday for my lowers and my new wire on top. They first reshaped my upper front teeth. They look normal now!!! That was not a pleasant experience tho!

Then they put my brackets on the lowers. That was the same old horse and pony show, nothing interesting.

I had picked hot pink ties for top, black for bottom. But then, then he tells the tech to put "rope" on me! That's right, I was pushed into the world of powerchains! There were 2 pieces of rope on my top teeth. One between my 2 front teeth to close the gap and another one on ALL of my teeth. Needless to say, the hot pink looked TERRIBLE!

After I left and went back to work, there was a pop and my wire shifted so it was poking BADLY. Called the ortho but of course they close at 12 on Wednesday. That night I got into an argument with someone and ended up having 2 of my lower brackets knocked off.

So on Thursday, back to the ortho I go. They fixed the brackets and wire and I begged them to change the powerchains. That is the most painful experience I have encountered yet! With chains on for even just one day, my teeth were already moving. I had her but silver between my 2 front then black over it. It hurt so blasted bad it made me cry! But, now things are well. My gap is closed and looks much better!

I will be honest too... Lower braces are FAR worse than uppers!!!
