I moved up to 4.5 oz elastics - and I have them in multi colors! Yippee! I'll post a picture when our camera gets repaired!

Your lower teeth have levelled very good!!!!!

How long it took to get them levelled? My case is not that bad than yours, but it seems to take loads of time to get lower teeth levelled.

So, I went to the orthodontist yesterday 'cause of a broken bracket.

And, wouldn't you know it, I've done 21 of the proposed 24 months in metal and I find out yesterday that in order to fix my bite, two teeth need to come out (he was hoping rubberbands would've done the trick) and I'll be wired for ANOTHER year!

Extractions yesterday.

If I'm going to have to be in braces for another year, I wanted to get that year started as soon as possible.

Now there are some big spaces to fill:

I got my braces two years ago! How can it be that it's been two years?

When I got my braces, I decided to let my hair grow out and planned to cut it when the metal came off. When the orthodontist told me that I'd be in braces for an additional year, I knew the hair had to go. So, on January 1st, I made the big snip and was able to donate almost 13 inches of hair to Pantene Beautiful LengthsCheck it out:

Wow flygirlnextdoor, I admire your patience. I can imagine it being pretty frustrating having the ortho come to you telling you that you're going to have to wear braces for even longer...hang in there!!! In the meantime, your teeth are looking great!

The gaps are FINALLY closed... perhaps I'll get some ETA on when the metal comes off?
